Principal’s Message

Dear Parents,

My name is Mrs. Susan Cunningham, and it fills my heart with joy to be a part of the Incarnate Word Catholic School community, where we strive to make "God’s love visible" every day. As principal, I am committed to walking hand in hand with each of you, nurturing the growth of mind and spirit in all our beloved students. Together, let’s cultivate an environment overflowing with love, where every child feels cherished and supported on their journey of learning and personal development.

As we enter into the 2024/25 school year, I am excited to highlight some areas of focus and implementation for the upcoming school year.

In the area of Catholic Identity, the following priorities will be implemented:

• Monthly Faith Family Activities to include service project
• Monthly Faith Family Masses 
• Kindergarten/7th Grade Buddies

In the area of Educational priorities, the following will be implemented:

• Special Class added for Junior High - Mind, Body, and Spirit 
• Resource Team added - Reading Specialist K-3, Math Specialist K-3, Math Specialist 4-8, Reading Specialist 4-8. 
• Assistant Principal - Degreed and work experience in Mental Health and Response in Youth

In the area of Institutional priorities, the following with be implemented:

• Installation of additional cameras school wide 
• Reformat Weekly Parent Newsletter sent on Fridays 
• Revised Uniform Policy
