Monica McDonough

Hello! I have the privilege of being one of the 2nd grade teachers. In 2019, I graduated from Benedictine College in Kansas with an Elementary Ed. degree and a minor in Theology. My Catholic faith is central in my life, so I have always felt called to teach in a Catholic school. God immediately led me to IW and I am blessed to be part of this wonderful team, especially as we prepare the 2nd grade students to receive Jesus in First Communion! What a gift! I have 4 incredible siblings, who are some of my favorite people on the planet. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, playing card games, learning fiddle, cooking, Irish dancing, traveling, laughing with my family, chasing my niece and nephews, flying kites, reading, and doing anything crafty. I love to marvel at the beauty of God’s creation, foster a spirit of gratitude, and find joy in every day throughout this journey to eternity!
