Marcy Hartzell

Hello! My name is Marcy Hartzell and I love being part of the Incarnate Word family as the Learning Consultant. I look forward to meeting and working with the students. Watching them learn and grow is a fantastic perk of teaching. My educational journey started many years ago when I studied Elementary Education while at Franciscan University of Steubenville, and I later earned my Master's degree in Reading from Duquesne University. I have taught in both the Diocese of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston in West Virginia. Catholic schools have always played a very important role in my life as I have only attended and taught in faith-based schools. I enjoy the sense of community which surrounds an active parish. Please reach to me if you have questions or concerns about your child's progress. I am here to assist so that your child's needs, interests, and abilities are met. Besides teaching, I love to cook, exercise, and read. My favorite activity is when I can spend time with my family.
