Kendi Cunningham

Welcome! I am the K-4 reading specialist at Incarnate Word. In my time as an educator, I have enjoyed teaching 3rd grade, 1st grade, working in a school library, teaching enrichment classes, and working as a reading specialist. As a reading specialist, I create and implement reading intervention plans based on the student's needs and learning styles. My favorite activity to do with my students is reading together. There is nothing better than seeing a child's emotions and reactions as they listen to a story! In my free time, I enjoy walking, swimming, going to The Muny, the zoo or a Cardinal game with my three children and husband. I am glad to be at Incarnate Word because it is a warm and positive community that fully engages students in their academics and faith.
