Eighth Grade

Hello! I am currently an 8th grade homeroom teacher. I also teach 6th & 7th grade literature and 8th grade English. I started my middle school teaching career at IW in 2008 teaching English. Due to my mom’s health, I quit to help her. I missed the parish, so I became a parishioner at IW in 2011. My past middle school teaching experience was at Ascension in Chesterfield teaching language arts and social studies for six years. I am a Google Certified 1 & 2 teacher, and I have attended METC technology conferences to help infuse technology to improve my lesson planning and to help train fellow teachers at my school. Personally, my husband and I grew up attending Catholic grade schools and high schools. Because of our invaluable experience growing up in the Catholic faith, we also sent our two children to parish schools and private high schools. The Catholic church is very important to us and I enjoy being a part of this faith-filled community!
