I am a seasoned teacher who enjoys spending the day with your children. I have taught kindergarten, second, third, fourth and fifth grades, both self-contained and departmentalized. With a certification in Remedial Reading and Learning Disabilities, my teaching philosophy is to meet children where they are, academically, socially and emotionally, and moving them forward to the best of their abilities in the time we have together. I also believe that your child is unique and just the person God wants them to be. I strongly believe that education is a partnership between home and school. Your children are my blessings. I am married to a wonderful man and father, and he and I are native to St. Louis, with three grown children who were all educated in private Catholic schools. Our oldest son is a tax attorney in Chicago, our second son is in the family business with Ray and our daughter has followed me into the teaching career. Our family loves St. Louis and we are active in Civic and Arts organizations. We love the Cardinals and performing arts. I was a classically trained ballet dancer, performed and taught ballet for many years. Two of our children have performed at The Muny, in college productions and regional theater productions. I have a love for books and reading and hope to instill a lifelong love of learning in your children.
