Carrie Morrow

Welcome to Incarnate Word! My name is Carrie Morrow. IW has been near and dear to my heart for many, many years. I was born and raised here in Chesterfield with my 7 siblings. I attended IW through grade school and went to high school at Incarnate Word Academy. I then attended the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, where I played soccer and received an Early Childhood and Elementary Education degree. I began my teaching career right out of school with Fr. Schroeder at St. Joseph’s in Cottleville in the second grade. I have been married for 12 years to my loving and supportive husband, Derek. We have four beautiful children, Derek (11), Finnegan (9), Virginia (6) and Juliana (4). They are the light of my life. From the moment I became a mother, I always had the pull to send my kids to the place that raised me in my Catholic faith. In 2021 that dream came true! I not only get to send my kids to this amazing school, but I also get to teach second grade at this amazing school. The most rewarding job is to be able to express my faith and teach the young minds about the amazing things God has done and continues to do. Walking the second graders through this faith altering year is such a privilege. I am blessed beyond measure and am looking forward to being here for many, many years!
