Hi! I'm glad you're exploring Incarnate Word's website. I've been in Incarnate Word Parish for over 20 years in many different capacities, and I'm currently the Junior High Science teacher (for 6th - 8th grades). I grew up in Jefferson City and came to live in Saint Louis after I graduated from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) with a B.S. in Chemistry. I later received a M.D.S. from St. Louis University. (Sorry, it's not a medical degree: it's a Master's of Decision Sciences and it is such an interesting field!) I taught at St. Louis University for a few years before our family grew from two of us to six of us. Incarnate Word has been a home to me since our oldest son was born, and I have grown spiritually, socially, and intellectually here. This parish has allowed me to be as helpful as I wish, taking on or even creating projects for myself, bringing me closer to other parishioners and God. I have experienced such kindness here. It's a lovely place to be. I am a fan of STL SC, the newest, awesomest MLS expansion team ever. I like Doctor Who, obscure references, riddles, Scrabble, science fiction, and playing with spreadsheets.
