Incarnate Word was fortunate to receive a very sizable grant from the Roman Catholic Foundation to fund our Makerspace. We are so grateful for this space where students have an extension of their classroom that provides them with an incredible space to create, build, learn, and have fun. Our students utilize the engineering design process to create hands-on learning experiences where big ideas come to life and endless possibilities emerge. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are at the forefront of working in this space which inspire deeper learning and support student growth.
