Inclusion Program

At Incarnate Word Catholic School, we believe that all God's children have a right to an education in academics and faith, an education that meets their unique, individual needs. Integral to this call is the inclusion of students who have mild, moderate, and more severe disabilities. It is our mission to establish a welcoming and supportive environment for these children and to provide for them a faith-based education in the general education classroom. We strive to benefit our entire student body and staff by creating this opportunity to serve and to learn side-by-side with others who learn differently, and in the process, become more compassionate people. Our purpose is to more fully realize that each of us is an important and valued member of the Body of Christ.
