At Incarnate Word Catholic School our faith is alive and evident in all that we do! We have celebrated nearly 50 years of Catholic education and each day we live our mission: God's Love Made Visible.
Students have daily religion class. Our students attend Mass two times a week. Students in 2nd-8th grades participate in the Mass as readers, servers, and hospitality. Additionally, students are paired up in groups called Faith Families where Kindergarten through 8th grade students meet once a month with whom they pray, perform service activities, and attend Mass. In May this group becomes a field day team. Students have many opportunities to celebrate their faith including monthly Adoration and Benediction, retreats, Reconciliation, and prayer services. Our 2nd grade students receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion and our 8th graders receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. In addition, all our students are involved in learning and actively practicing their role of service to others. Our priests are actively involved in the education of our children, greeting them at drop-off & dismissal, visiting and teaching in classrooms, and celebrating the Eucharist at weekly Masses.
